Frank Chapman officiating. -Mr. Long passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. He was a life long resident of Lizella, and was also an excellent career carpenter. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Clyde Long, his brother, Nickey Long, and his sister, Brenda Wagner. -He is survived by three sons and one daughter, Marty and Louis Long of Roberta, Randy Long and Teresa Arreola of Lizella, and their mother, Betty Long of Roberta; eight beautiful grandchildren, Kenneth, Daniel, Destiny, Timothy, Little Randy, April, Amber and Lydia. His mother, Dorothy E. Long of Lizella; brothers and sisters, Diane Smith, Frankie Long, Sarah Bittner, Alton Long and Susan Long of Lizella, Jean Newman of Gray, Sherry Majors and Arlene Long of Macon. -Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. -Goddard-McLeighton Funeral Home of Roberta is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Long passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ruby Mae Jones Bilow and her husband, Clyde Marvin Long. -She is survived by three sons, Louis Long and Marvin E. Long of Crawford County, and Randy G. Long of Lizella; one daughter, Teresa Arreola of Lizella; two sisters, Annie Louise Howard of Byron and Jean Vanover of Webster, FL; eight grandchildren, Daniel Johns, Kenneth, Destiny and Little Randy Long, Timothy, April, Amber and Lydia Arreola. -Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. -Goddard- McLeighton Funeral Home of Roberta is in charge of arrangements.
