ROBERTA - Shirley Long Martin, 60, died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at her
residence. Funeral services will be held at 4P.M. Sunday at Bethel United
Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Bethel Church Cemetery.
-She was a lifelong resident of Crawford County and a member of Bethel United
Methodist Church. She retired as a Civil Service employee from Robins Air Force
Base.
 -Survivors include her husband, William Clifford Martin of Roberta, GA; her
son, Michael Wallace Wood (Cherilyn) of Roberta; her daughter, Stephanie
Michelle Wood of Atlanta; her brothers, William Long of Macon, GA and Billy Long
(Charlotte) of Macon, GA; her sisters, Corine Warren (Albert) of Laurens County,
Loveen Pritchet of Easley, SC, and Gwen Collins of Easley, SC; and three
grandchildren.
-Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
-Goddard-McLeighton Funeral Home of Roberta has charge of the
arrangements.
