Britt Ft. Valley - Lewis Felton Britt, 44, of Ft. Valley, died Tuesday in Peach County Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in Bethany Primitive Baptist Church. Elder R. T. Hancock and Elder Freeman Keel will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. He was a native of Crawford County, and was employed by the Blue Bird Body Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Shirley Wade of Ft. Valley, three daughters, Debra, Ginger and Wanda Britt, all of Ft. Valley; mother Mrs. Roxie Britt of Ft. Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Wiley Patterson, and Mrs. Homer Gassett, both of Ft. Valley; two brothers, Royce Britt of Farfax ? and J. W. Britt of Ft. Valley. Services will be 11A.M., Friday, June 29, 2007 in the chapel of Byron Baptist Church with Dr. Lawrence Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. -One of six children born to the late William Cliff and Lillie Bell Davidson Wade, Mrs. Cryder was born in Crawford County, A member of Byron Baptist Church, she had been employed at Kellwood and the US Post Office. Mrs. Cryder was a devoted and loyal Peach County Trojan football fan. -Survivors include her husband of forty-two years, Leo Cryder of Byron; children, Deborah and Steve Whitehead of Prattville, Ala., Ginger and John Thompson of Decatur, Ill., Wanda and Lee Murphy, Tangie and Tommy Woods, Dawn and Mickey Deese, Tami Lurie, Kenneth Cryder and Kayla Cryder, all of Byron; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grand-children. -She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis F. Britt. -The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron.
