It was constituted December 6, 1794, at Buffalo Creek, in Washington County. It has known five buildings on three different locations, and has been part of the Darien, Hephzibah, and Washington Associations. September 2, 1884 she deeded her land to her only daughter. Research of Van Cecil Britt, points to her leaving Crawford County, and moving to Texas. The move has not been confirmed; however Ava is not found on the 1900 census for Crawford County, nor was she found on the 1900 census of Shelby County, Texas; with her son Kinchen's family.
