The rev. Tegler Greer will officiate. Mr. Long was a retired farmer. He had lived in Crawford County all of his life. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Bechan (sic) Long; eight daughters, Mrs. Robert Ambrose, Roberta; Mrs. E. H. Britt, Musella; Mrs. Andrew Davidson, Macon; Mrs. Monroe Marshall, Lizella; Mrs. Earl Mitchell, Musella; Mrs. Eugene Smith, Knoxville; Mrs. E. T. Pressley, Roberta; and Mrs. Henry Thomas, Knoxville, Ga.; four sons, Mr. J. Wallace Long, Knoxville; Mr. W. Clyde Long, Lizella; Mr. John Wesley Long, Jr., Knoxville; and Mr. Joseph T. Long, Macon; one sister, Mrs. J. C. Hamlin, Sr., Knoxville, Ga.; and 50 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Bankston Funeral Home of Roberta is in charge of arrangements.
