Note (1) At his death,he had lived in Amarillo over fifty years, moving there from New
Mexico.  He worked for the sanitation dept. for the city of Amarillo for 17
years before retiring in 1974.  He was a veteran of World War II serving
inGermany.  He was 83.  At his death, the paper lists 11 grandchilddren, 21
great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.
