Britt Ft. Valley - Funeral services for Van I. Britt, 77, who died Monday at his residence here, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with Elder W. H. Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Britt was a native of Crawford County and a member of the Bethany Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Georgia Collins Britt of Ft. Valley; five daughters, Mrs. O. H. Yaughn of Macon, Mrs. J. O. Dixon of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. D. H. Williams of San Antonio, Tex., Mrs. C. R. Jackson of Dickerson, Tex., and Mrs. Perry Johnson of Montezume; two sons, James D. Britt of Texas City, Tex., and Cecil Britt of U. S. Navy, Brunswick, Me.; one sister Mrs. J. C. Thames of Macon.
