Notes for: William Berrien Long

Mary Ann Hampton-Long is said to have died while William was still an infant. He was raised by his Hampton grandparents until william married Louisa. William and Tracey lived in Houston County until about 1871, when they moved to Brooks County, Georgia. In Brooks County, they reared their family and are also buried there.
