I am trying to research my husband's family. Gordon was named after his father Gordon Conley, b 1913/14 in Wilcox/Dodge Co.GA. He was Living in Abbeville, GA, when he married Daisy E. Britt, b 1920.
They had 2 children Gordon b. 08/10/37 Janie b. 1941.
We know he served in WW11 and believed he moved to SC afterward.
