Laura, was born Abt 1868. Another Laura (daughter of John Jasper Britt Sr) was born Abt 1867. A marriage record of William A. Thompson to Laura Britt was found; however, it was not known which Laura married him. Information located online for Shelby County, Texas; shows a Laura Britt (single) on the 1900 census. Since Kinchen L and family moved to Shelby County, Texas, this would now indicate that Laura Britt-Thompson would be the daughter of John Jasper Britt.
