Notes for: Lewis Miles C. Britt

The initial "C" was discovered on a deed from Lewis' parents. What the C stands for has not been discovered yet. Another Lewis M.C. Britt married Sarah Wooten in Taylor County, Ga, in 1857. Because of the similarity in names, we are convinced that the "other Lewis" is a brother of Henry N., and this Lewis was named after him.
