Notes for: Stephen Alfred Wright

There are two marriages listed in the marriages index for Crawford County. We have not been able to determine as of August 24, 2001, why it "appears" Alfred married Oma Grace, about a year after his marriage to Martha Ann Britt (indexed as Martha L.). The 1880 census of Crawford County, indicates that Alfred and Martha are still married, and no indication of Oma. It seems logical that there were two "Alfreds"; however, this has not been confirmed.
