Notes for: Ruth Prince
The picture shown on the family sheet, was taken October 28th, 2000 at Eastside Gardens Living Center, in Snelleville, Georgia. Pictured is Ruth Prince-Dennett, (granddaughter of Henry N. and Elizabeth Miller-Britt) and Rozine Britt-Sheets, (great-granddaughter of Henry and Elizabeth). While attending the University of Georgia in Athens, Ruth was asked for her "middle" name; to which she replied she did not have a "second name." Being thought of as "odd" for not having a middle name, she decided to take the name of her mother, and went by the name Minnie Ruth Prince. She mentioned, she had only attended school in Roberta, for one year; which was her senior year. She later became a school teacher, and taught for a short time in a small school house located in Zenith. When older she went to Washington D.C., and became a secretary working for the government. She didn't specify her actual job, or which agency she was employed by. She and Prescott did not have any children.
